Human Powered Parade

For the 8th year, Bristol's streets will be buzzing with the thrum of creative motion for the Human Powered Parade on Saturday, May 18th 10am - 3pm. Come celebrate human power at this season's parade and activity fair showcasing organizations engaged in EMERGENCE efforts globally and locally.
Create costumes, bike decorations, and other parade floats or fun functions that explore the theme of Emergence. 
Emergent = coming into being. 
What EMERGENT themes are present in your life? 
Think critters and flowers popping into spring! Think cellular-level emergence—developing, growing, budding, burgeoning, nascent, fledgling. Think viruses exiting the frontal social context! And emerging into the next century—what will the future bring?
Gather at 10:00am with a BMX show at 10:30, and the parade starting at 11:00am. The parade comes back to the Rec Field for some music, roller skating and food truck delights.
